If only we could read intentions, then we probably could save a lot of relationships, find the perfect job (and boss) and avoid dunking money in exchange for five years of therapy. But we can't, therefore scams exist. So how exactly does a scam look like? Here is a lesson in practical anatomy you should learn right now:
You get charged for working
Only a scam will ask you to pay money so they could pay you back. Scams will do anything to make you part with your cash – pay for a starter kit, an exclusive access to resources you could actually get for free, some fancy equipment that turns out to be useless, etc.
If you want real opportunity, try the free ones. There's plenty online, just look carefully. They lead you to a real work-from-home opportunity and you don't have to spend for anything.
Lack of a real product or job
If you're being promised a work-from-home job, you better be working. Or if you have to work with products, they better be real and have value. Otherwise, all your efforts will be put to waste.
The amount of money is ridiculous
Yes, it's quite possible to make a lot of money from a work-from-home opportunity but if the offer sounds too great, it could be a scam. Imagine earning $1,500 to $5,000 a week for doing nothing. Hey, even your old boss never had it this good.
Try to check the business model or method that will be used. Ask what it is exactly you need to do and why so much money could be made.
A vague offering
A work-from-home scam will tell you that there's plenty to be made from using a 'top secret' system or a never-before-heard method of earning money for little effort. If it's so top secret, why reveal it to millions of people now and if it did make them that much money, how come they're still working?
The money flow stops here.
Usually, before it reaches you. Illegitimate work-from-home jobs will not only take your money but they will also make you work like crazy. The sad thing is, you don't get compensated for it. But your sponsor can and boy, does he/she earn big for YOUR efforts.
